Board approves Pond Street townhouse redevelopment with construction restrictions

Board of Zoning Appeals · Meeting of January 7, 2026

WEYMOUTH — Zoning board approves Pond Street townhouse with construction-hour restrictions. The Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved JCBT Architect LLC's application for a two-family townhouse at 64 Pond Street, subject to conditions requiring all construction remain on-site, excavation begin no earlier than 8 a.m., and construction hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. once interior work starts. The applicant's stormwater plan includes a Cultec infiltration system designed for a 100-year storm.

The board deferred a larger petition by Weymouth Main Street LLC for a mixed-use grocery-and-coffee development on Main Street to January 28.
