Historical Commission approves prior minutes, discusses development cases

WEYMOUTH — The Weymouth Historical Commission approved prior minutes and reviewed development cases. The commission unanimously approved revised minutes from March 10, 2026 and minutes from April 21, 2026, and reviewed a Community Preservation Committee report estimating Boy Scout Bridge reconstruction in the Great Esker at $180,000. Member Anna Bagdonas reported the Historical Commission newsletter will be published in the coming week, and Chair James Clarke discussed an ongoing demolition delay issue at 152 Green Street where an applicant began roof removal work without proper permits.
The commission will coordinate with the Cemetery Commission on June 2 regarding town-owned cemeteries and burial records.
