Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of April 7, 2026

WEYMOUTH — Library board hears record attendance and expanded programming at Weymouth public library. Six of seven Board of Library Trustees members met April 7 to approve prior minutes and hear Director Amy Rosa report record-breaking children's room attendance and material circulation. The library hired a new Teen Librarian to expand programming in STEAM, Chess, and LGBTQ+ support; collaborative programs with the Weymouth Health Department continue.

A Foundations-funded mural was unveiled in the children's room, and a Mass Broadband grant will provide laptop lending and printing services at Fogg Library.
