Weymouth's Scholarship Fund Committee unanimously approved awards to 54 recipients totaling $145,800, combining $88,800 in sponsor contributions, $36,000 from the Pizzi renewal fund, and a $21,000 supplement from Weymouth Scholarship donations. Chairperson Virginia Snell reported that four members — Snell, Cindy Page, Matt Tierney, and Alicia Lyons — have been approved for reappointment to three-year terms. The slate comprises 23 graduating seniors, 21 currently enrolled students, and one returning adult.
A recognition ceremony is scheduled for May 26, with Mayor Molisse invited.
