School Committee elects Nardone chair, Graziano vice chair by majority

Weymouth School Committee holds organizational meeting and elects officers. Tracey Nardone won unanimous approval as Chairperson, while Danielle Graziano was elected Vice Chairperson 5-1 over the opposition of Ashley Dickerman, who nominated Mary-Ellen Devine as an alternative. Devine was confirmed as Secretary unanimously.
Nardone told the six-member body that the fiscal year ahead will be challenging and signaled she will assign members to subcommittees, with each member required to serve on at least three.
