School Committee reviews superintendent performance goals and evaluation timeline

Weymouth Public Schools · Meeting of May 14, 2026

Weymouth School Committee reviews superintendent end-of-year performance across six goal areas. Chair Tracey Nardone raised concerns about conducting evaluations in public and proposed skipping the 2026-27 evaluation cycle; the formal evaluation vote is scheduled for June 25. Vice Chair Danielle Graziano created a graphic organizer to help committee members rate superintendent performance on key indicators.

The committee noted that special education communication needs improvement and that the superintendent's strategic vision will be released in late summer rather than May to align with the school year start.
