Weymouth Policy Subcommittee forwards four policies for Committee review. The subcommittee unanimously agreed to forward three MASC-recommended policies clarifying state regulations on raffles—Policy GBEBC on staff gifts and solicitations, Policy JJE on student fundraising, and Policy KBE on parent and booster organizations—along with a revision to Wellness Policy ADF streamlining handbook edits, to the full School Committee for First Reading. The subcommittee will continue reviewing artificial intelligence handbook guidance at the subcommittee level to ensure consistent language and disciplinary consequences across all schools before it goes to the full Committee.
