Town Council approves 18 board reappointments, refers two others.

Weymouth Town Council unanimously reappoints 18 to municipal boards and committees. President Arthur E. Mathews and the Council approved measures 26-010 through 26-018 and 26-020 through 26-029 without opposition, covering reappointments to the Board of Assessors, Historical Commission, Community Preservation Committee, Cultural Council, Board of Library Trustees, Commission on Disabilities, Board of Health, Conservation Commission, Scholarship Fund Committee, Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Elder Services, Planning Board, Waterfront Committee, and Community Events Committee.
The Council separately referred measure 26-019, the reappointment of Jonathan Moriarty to the Zoning Board of Appeals, and measure 26-030, appointment of Lisa Webb to the Community Events Committee, to the Budget/Management Committee for review. Councilor Gary MacDougall withdrew two zoning and dumpster-screening measures at the Council's request, citing ongoing coordination between the Town Administration and Building and Health Departments.
