Weymouth approves two accessory dwelling units

Weymouth approves two residential accessory dwelling unit projects in the R-1 district. Planning Director Robert Luongo granted site plan approval to Rebecca Huang Yun for conversion of an existing in-law to an ADU at 28 Edgeworth Street on the 15,112-square-foot property. Luongo also approved Erjon Kanaj's plan for a detached garage with a 750-square-foot above-garage ADU at 238 Roosevelt Road on a 13,142-square-foot parcel.
Both projects met site plan and design criteria under Article XXIX of the town's Zoning Ordinance.
