Weymouth Moves SWNAS Redevelopment Meeting to Chapman Middle School

WEYMOUTH — Weymouth announced this week that an upcoming public meeting on the South Weymouth Naval Air Station redevelopment has been relocated to Chapman Middle School, as the project's developers prepare to begin construction activity across Weymouth, Abington and Rockland.

TOWN HALL

The Town's News Flash confirmed a joint venture of New England Development and BGRE, formerly known as Brookfield Properties, will soon begin construction activities tied to redevelopment of the South Weymouth Naval Air Station (SWNAS). Because of the shift toward active construction work, the town has moved an upcoming SWNAS redevelopment meeting to Chapman Middle School rather than its originally planned site. The notice did not specify a new meeting date.
