Weymouth school budgeters unanimously advanced activity fee increases and student transportation plans. Vice Chair Danielle Graziano led the meeting with Committee members Mary-Ellen Devine, Kelly McClean, Cindy Lyons, and Ashley Dickerman present. The subcommittee voted unanimously to refer school fees to the full committee, with activity increases recommended at 10 percent for most activities, 20 percent for hockey and transportation, and 5 percent for WECC tuition, projected to generate $96,000 for one teacher and one paraprofessional position.

Assistant Superintendent Brian Smith updated the committee on student transportation: First Student submitted the apparent low bid at $16.6 million over five years, $500,000 below the initial bid, with committee vote scheduled for June 25.
